    F#
    I confess, I messed up
    B D#m B
    Dropping "I'm sorry's" like you're still around
          F#
And I know you dressed up
          B D#m B
Said "hey kid, you'll never live this down"

          F# B
cause you're just the girl all the boys want to dance with
        D#m B
And I'm just the boy who's had too many chances

        G#m D#m
I'm sleeping on your folk's porch again, dreaming
        B B
She said, she said, she said, "Why don't you just drop dead?"

    F# B
I don't blame you for being you
    D#m B
But you can't blame me for hating it
       F#
So say, what are you waiting for?
    B
    Kiss her! Kiss her!
    D#m B
I set my clocks early 'cause I know I'm always late

    F# B
Write me off, give up on me
                            D#m B
'Cause darling what did you expect
             F#
I'm just off a lost cause
    B D#m B
A long shot, don't even take this bet

            F# B
You can make all the moves, you can aim all the spotlights
    D#m B
Get all the sighs and the moans just right

    G#m D#m
I'm sleeping on your folk's porch again, dreaming
        B B
She said, she said, she said, "Why don't you just drop dead?"

    F# B
I don't blame you for being you
    D#m B
But you can't blame me for hating it
       F#
So say, what are you waiting for?
    B
    Kiss her! Kiss her!
    D#m B
I set my clocks early 'cause I know I'm always late

             F# B D#m
    I'm just always (always) on
                   B
You said you'd keep me honest
    F# B D#m
    Always on (always) on
                B
But I won't call you on it
    F# D#m B
    Always (always on)

hey i see where you are coming from but in this key the D#m fits in much better than the Dm. play it and you'll see that when u play it with the Dm it sounds like you are running over a cat xox
