I think you need to add a capo on the first fret.

Terrific post!

I found that when playing this with two or more guitars, I prefer this in the key of G, capo 6. Also, playing that high up on the neck, it's quite a beautiful thing if one adds a harmonic or two.

However, even in the key of G, to me the E2 which leads up to the Em doesn't seem to fit well and alternatively, I like to use a walking bass G-chord to lead up to the Em.

Just a suggestion--such a beautiful rendition for acoustic guitar and very easy to play!
