band: finch
song: awake
tabbed by: stephanie(imma_heretic@yahoo.com)helped by dan(the man)
tuning: E-A-D-G-B-E (standard tuning)

there's several different ways to play this song, but this is the
way i'm hearing it. there are 2 versions of this song, and this
tab is for the version that's on their album, what it is to burn.
keep in mind that this song is tracked so it may be difficult to
hear some things. i know Finch has only 2 guitarists, but there
are more than 2 guitars going on in this song. this song is
played in triplets.(i have no idea what that means, my guitar
teacher just told it to me)..O_o..

Intro(Guitar1): repeat8x
e-18----------------------
b--18--18----18----18-----
g----18--18----18----18---
d----------18----18----18-
a-------------------------
e-------------------------
(on the 8th time this is played the riff changes just a tiny bit.
after you play the riff written above, pick 18 on the high e
string and let it ring out.)

Intro(Guitar2): played after Guitar1 plays 4x. repeat 4x

....you can say this song is pretty excessive, if you people
didn't notice. this took months for me finish, after hearing
this stupid song over a thousand times you start to get sick
of it. if you find anything wrong with these tabs or you just
find something wrong with me, drop me a line:

The intro to this song is played with 7th fret harmonics, but it sounds the same...
I saw it at the webster.
