Intro & First Verse

Restless tonight
Cause I wasted the light
Between both these times
I drew a really thin line
It's nothing I planned
And not that I can
But you should be mine
Across that line

e|-3-----3------0-----0-----8-----8------3-------------------------|
B|---3-----3------3-----3-----6-----6----3-------------------------|
G|-----0-----0------0-----0-----0-----0----------------------------|
D|-----------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-----------------------------------------------------------------|
E|-3------------3--------------------------------------------------|

the chorus can be played with this chord progression

     G* C* E* D5 Dsus2
e|---3------3------3-----0----3-----------------------------|
B|---3------3------3-----3----3-----------------------------|
G|---0------0------0-----2----2-----------------------------|
D|---0------2------2-----0----0-----------------------------|
A|---2------3------2-----0----0-----------------------------|
E|---3------0------0-----0----0-----------------------------|

[Chorus x2]

   G*
If I traded it all
   C* E*
If I gave it all away for one thing
     D5 Dsus2
Just for one thing
   G*
If I sorted it out
   C* E*
If I knew all about this one thing
   D5 Dsus2
Wouldn't that be something

Repeat Intro for these 2 verses

I promise I might
Not walk on by
Maybe next time
But not this time

Even though I know
I don't want to know
Yeah I guess I know
I just hate how it sounds

Use Em instead of E, and its basically nice... I thought it was always just G and C where C*= C/G or C, for the second chord like below, or change Em to Em/G and reverse the C and Em:

G
If I traded it all,
C*
If I gave it all away for one thing,

Just for one thing,

===========OR=============

G
If I traded it all,
Em/G C*
If I gave it all away for one thing,

Just for one thing,
