Well, "Between Pavement and Stars" is here! To commemorate this joyous occasion of FIF's new EP, here is one of
the catchiest songs off their new release: "To Astoria!"

This is pretty easy, being Key of C and all. I apologize if these lyrics are off--I had to get them by ear;
when the lyrics are posted online, I will check to make sure the lyrics are correct. Enjoy!

Intro: C

Verse 1:

But, alas, the final wave
        F C
Settled many in their grave.
     F
Yet, here I am--
     C G
Just standing like a tree.

Verse 2:
       C
I've a map and I've a spade,
              F C
And there's a treasure in a cave
          F
Somewhere on the coast--
      C G
Just west of Tripoli.

Chorus:
         Am C
Jude and Findy are my pride.
           F C
I'll leave Molly by my side.
      Dm C
The Inferno, she's the jewel
            G
of the very fleet.
         Am C
Push and pull, and anchor's way,
         F C
And o'er seven seas we sway
     Dm
To a distant shore
          C G
Where the air is cool and sweet.

Bridge:
         C
To Astoria!
        Dm C F
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh!
         C
To Astoria!
        Dm C F C
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh!

Verse 3:

I've a crew and I've a plan,
            F C
And once me half-deluded hand,
     F
Will point out proud
C G
Toward Astorian town,

Verse 4:
            C
Through the hills of fallen green
     F C
To defend Molly and me
      F
We'll have it all
  C G
Before the sun goes down.

CHORUS TWICE

Outro:

         C
To Astoria!
        Dm C F
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh!
         C
To Astoria!
        Dm C F
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh!
         C
To Astoria!
        Dm C F
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh!
         C
To Astoria!
        Dm C F C
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh!

No word on the official lyrics yet, but by my ear, here are my proposed corrections (changes to chorus and second verse).

First verse
But alas, the final wave settled many in their grave, yet here I am just standing like a tree. I've a map and I've a spade, and there's a treasure in a cave somewhere on the coast, just west of Tripoli.

Chorus
Jude and Findy are my pride, pouting Molly by my side. The Inferno, she's the jewel of the very fleet. Push and pull, and anchors 'weigh! O'er the seven seas we sway to a distant shore where the air is cool and sweet.

To Astoria! Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh!
To Astoria! Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh!

Second verse
I've a crew and I've a plan; once we have the loot in hand, we'll point our prow toward Astoria town. Through the hills of foam and green, Jude and Fin, Molly, and me, we'll have it all before the sun goes down.

Chorus x2

To Astoria! Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh!
To Astoria! Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh!
To Astoria! Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh!
To Astoria! Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh!
