Come down from the mountain, you have been gone too long
                                      D
The spring is upon us, follow my only song
A E
Settle down with me by the fire of my young love
           B A E
You should come back home, back on your own now

E
The world is alive now, in and outside I know
                                              D
You run through the forest, settle before the sun
A E
Darling, I can barely remember you beside me
           B A E
You should come back home, back on your own now

--
    B E
And even in the light, when the woman of the woods came by
   A E
To give to you the word of the old man
B E
In the morning tide when the sparrow and the seagull fly
    A E
And Johnathan and Evelyn get tired

--

E A B E A Cm#
Lie to me if you will at the top of Beringer Hill
B A E B A E
Tell me anything you want, any old lie will do
D Cm# B
Call me back to you
            E
Back to you*

When you're playing the first E chord play like this to make it sound more like the record:
Down... Mountain.. You have.. Gone too long
E|------------------------------------|
B|------------2---------------------2-|
G|-1----------1----------1----------1-|
D|-2----------2----------1----------2-|
A|-2----------2----------2----------2-|
E|------------------------------------| again and again

NO! It should be like this:

Down... Mountain.. You have.. Gone too long

E|------------------------------------|
B|-0----------2----------4----------2-|
G|-1----------1----------1----------1-|
D|-2----------2----------1----------2-|
A|-2----------2----------2----------2-|
E|------------------------------------|

And when you're playing the A chord it should be like this:

E|-0----------2----------4----------2-|
B|-2----------2----------2----------2-|
G|-2----------2----------2----------2-|
D|-2----------2----------2----------2-|
A|------------------------------------|
E|------------------------------------|

And the last part, copied from the other tab, seems better played like this:

E G#m
Lie to me if you will!

E A
At the top of Baringer Hill!

B A E
Tell me anything you want!

B A C#m
Any old lie will do!

D A B
Call me back to...

E
Back to you!
