Sentimental Lady - Fleetwood Mac
Tabbed by John Lofgren

G A
You are here and warm,
    Bm A Bm bar2 Bm bar2 Bm
But I could look away and you'd be gone.
G A
'Cause we live in a time,
     Bm A Bm bar2 Bm bar2 Bm
When meaning falls in splinters from our minds.
    G A
And that's why I've travelled far,
       Bm A Bm bar2 Bm bar2 Bm
'Cause I come so together where you are.

F#m A
And all of the things that I said that I wanted
F#m A
Come rushing by in my head when I'm with you
F#m A
Fourteen joys and a will to be married
F#m A
All of the things that you say are very...
D G D G
Sentimental gentle wind, blowin' through my life again,
D G F#m A
Sentimental lady, gentle one.
D G D G
Sentimental gentle wind, blowin' through my life again,
D G F#m A
Sentimental lady, gentle one.

Now you are here today,
But easily you might just slip away.
'Cause we live in a time,
When paintings have no color, words don't rhyme.
And that's why I've travelled far
'Cause I come so together where you are.

And all of the things that I said that I wanted
Come rushing by in my head when I'm with you
Fourteen joys and a will to be married
All of the things that you say are very...

Sentimental gentle wind, blowin' through my life again, Sentimental lady,
gentle one. Sentimental gentle wind, blowin' through my life again,
Sentimental lady, gentle one.

You are here and warm,
But I could look away and you'd be gone.
'Cause we live in a time,
When meaning falls in splinters from our lives.
And that's why I've travelled far,
'Cause I come so together where you are.

Yes, and all of the things that I said that I wanted
Come rushing by in my head when I'm with you
Fourteen joys and a will to be married
All of the things that you say are very...

Sentimental gentle wind, blowin' through my life again, Sentimental lady,
gentle one. Sentimental gentle wind, blowin' through my life again,
Sentimental lady, gentle one.

I like this! It is easy enough for me.. just learning barre chords and something like this I can handle.. The other version on here is just way too fancy.. I have been barring the G and A as well as playing them open.. Trying to figure out if I like the Bm on the E shape or the A shape.. Does anyone know what he means by bar 2?
Thanks for this!!

Late comment re CRAIGARRR - maybe Bar 2 on Bm part means alternate between the barred E shape Bm on fret 2 and a bar 2 "open" type of chord where you'd lift all the fingies except your barred first finger and go back and forth betw. Bm and x22222. I don't do the A shape ever for the Bm. I agree, barring G and A occasionally sounds good!

and barring the D for the D to G "Sentimental gentle wind" part sounds good -- fifth fret D down to 3rd fret G. :-)
