Much better than version 1 w/ the addition of the Am G D progression in the main verse :) especially if you use the 5th position Am and the 3rd position G. (follows the piano melody better). One mistake I did find though is the use of the A in the pre-chorus rather than the Am. And the C in the chorus 1 and final chorus sounds better as a C/G.

These chords do not belong together. There is no coherent key defined here. Changing the sharp roots to their enharmonic equivalent flat roots would be a good place to start but don't you think it would be much more practical to capo or flat tune?
