Song: I Want To Know What Love Is (Jones)
Group: Foreigner
Album: Agent Provocateur
Year: 1985

[Intro]

Em ' ' D | G ' ' ' | C ' | Em ' ' ' ||

[Verse]

Em D G C Em
I've gotta take a little time, a little time to think things over.
Em D G C Em
I better read between the lines, in case I need it when I'm older.

Em D G C Em
Now, this mountain I must climb feels like the world upon my shoulders.
Em D G C Em
Through the clouds I see love shine. It keeps me warm as life grows colder.

[Pre-Chorus]

      C/A Am C/A Am
In my life there's been heartache and pain.
C/A Am D/A Am
I don't know if I can face it again.
C/A Am D/A Am C G/B Am G C/D
Can't stop now. I've traveled so far to change this lonely life.

[Chorus]

G Em D *2* Am Em D *2*
I want to know what love is. I want you to show me.

I want to feel what love is. I know you can show me.

[Verse]

Em D G C Em
I'm gonna take a little time, a little time to look around me.
Em D G C Em
I've got nowhere to hide. It looks like love has fin'lly found me.

Actually just a bit different for me. I played it a half step down. And it sounds in tune with the song almost perfectly. I could be wrong. But try it out, let me know what you think.
