Notes: Man this song is hard. I'm not joking, this crazy tuning is a pain in the neck
you get used to it at which point it starts to sound great. This tab is really rough.
comment and work out new versions!! This is the basics as I saw that no1 had worked
out yet. Its missing the middle section because I cant work out the what the minor chord
Dont even start learning this song if you cant manage tapped harmonic chords.

Tuning: CGDGCE

chords (names are educated guesses):

C: 12 12 14 0 0 0 (play the 12th frets as harmonics)
G: 7 0 9 0 0 x
F: 5 0 7 x x x
C*: 002000
F*: 003000
G*: 005000

C G F
She came in from the cold. Wet!

Dropped her luggage bags; looked the concierge in the eye
F slide to G F
And said ‚I need a room for the night but I don't got no money.
G
Will you take pay of any kind?
             C*(hammer on)F* G* F*
He said, its alright. I've got a room here you can share mine.
Make the bed in the morning and that'll do fine.
                                      G* F*
You can change in the bathroom, hang your clothes on the line‚
                                                          C*(hammer
G*
A tear came to here eye as she thought‚ How could he be so kind

C F G
She sat down on the bed with a needle
He said I'd hate to see you bleed
G F
I'll just fetch a warm towel and sit with you till your dry
She started to cry saying ‚Why‚ why, why

C*(hammer on)F* G*
G* F*
Consider it an indiscriminate act of kindness!

Pretty much repeats itself after that. Sorry its so rough! If you see this Foy, sort it out!!!

I have an idea. Play this song with these chords without the strange tuning and it sounds ok. Not the same, but ok. I worked this out shortly after writing the tab!

The_Gretsch - correct...they are the same chords, its just the tuning will allow for the slides :)

As for the end:
F C
When you took your chances,
G
It's like you placed a bet

and repeat...

not really a correction.. more of an addition, or at least what i have found to work. i watched his fingers a little on his live video.. it looks like a sort of g shape on the 5th fret(basically mute the 2 G's and play the rest), the C* hammered on and off a couple times, then completely open, then a regular Em, back to C*. I think he plays it like 4 times. it sounds about right to me. but i was looking for the tuning and such for his for a while. this is great. thanks a lot.
