Silent Key by Frank Turner

I love this song, tragic but so beautiful.

From the new Frank Turner album
Positive Songs for Negative People

Intro: E B A
       E B A
       E B A
       E B Am

       E B A
On the 28th of January 1986
          E B A
Christa McAuliffe gazed in horror as the O-rings failed
A
And she died, and she died, and she died
        E B A
For the next agonising two minutes and forty five long seconds
           E B A
She called out the truth on a broken radio
A
I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive

   B E A
It came as some surprise to realise that as she lost everything
    B E A
The world was revealing a transmission so real that she understood everything
             E B A
You're still alive

             E B A
You're still alive

     E B A
Four thousand nautical miles as the crow flies away
A E B A
A home made ham radio in the loft of a Hampshire family home
A
Came alive, came alive, came alive
           E B A E
And so the 4 year old amateur operator thus became the only person to hear
               B A
Christa's last desperate communique
A
We're alive, we're alive, we're alive

   B E A
It came as some surprise to realise what he didn't catch everything
    B E A
The world was revealing a transmission so real that he understood everything
             E …....
You're still alive

(E soft)
And Christa said
    E Am
The darkness up above
B C#m
Led me on like unrequited love
              Am
While all the things I need
     B
Were down here in the deep blue sea

    E Am
The darkness up above
B C#m
Led me on like unrequited love
              Am
While all the things I need
     B
Were down here in the deep blue sea

    E Am
The darkness up above
B C#m
Led me on like unrequited love
              Am
While all the things I need
     B
Were down here in the deep blue sea

   E Am
At 4 years old
  B C#m
I heard the truth on my radio
   Am E
So now I keep a moments silence for my silent key
          E B A
My silent key
          E B A
My silent key
          E B A
My silent key

          E B A......

Pretty sure he plays it with a capo on 2 and you have a few chords missing. So relative to capo the verse would be like: D, A, G, Em and so on.

Saw him play it live the other day, no capo.
Pretty sure the opening riff is something like this:

e|-----------------|
b|-----------------|
g|-9-11-13-4-5-6-6-|
D|-x-x--x--x-6-7-7-|
A|-7-9--11-2-3-4-4-|
E|-0-0--0--0-4-5-5-|
