What a perfectly constructed song written by Bob Crewe and Kenny Nolan. It was
originally recorded by The Four Seasons in early 1974 but released as a Frankie
Valli solo song and topped the charts in 1975. Besides the touching subject
matter, it subliminally keeps our interest by continuously modulating up 1/2 step
at a time. Send Questions/comments to dougj1986[at]aol.com. My apologies if the
chord/words placement gets misaligned as I imported these notes from Word.

My Eyes Adored You

The intro guitar part uses '6ths' a la Van Morrison's BROWN EYED GIRL or Jim Croce's OPERATOR

Thank you for posting this GREAT lead sheet! This is the most accurate one of this song on here (at least that I've seen). I love this song and it's a joy to be able to play it on piano along with the record :)
