Verse 1
All our secrets are smothered in dirt, underneath paving stones
Lying waiting to be told
Some stay hidden, while some get found
Like a long lost soul, like a stone beneath the ground

Chorus
Backyard skulls, deep beneath the ground
All those backyard skulls, not deep enough to never be found

INTRO CHORDS

Verse 2
Here lies the first time that I was wrong
There is no sign, no X's mark the spot
The ancient encounters with foreign skin
All but perish by now, guess you can't erase the grin from those

Chorus
Backyard skulls, deep beneath the ground
All those backyard skulls, not deep enough to never be found

Bridge
From the patio doors, lie century upon century
The skulls untold, has hushed the suburban adultery
And below our homes and underneath the lawns we keep
White silent skulls, smiling at the hypocrisy

Chrous

Backyard skulls, deep beneath the ground
All those backyard skulls, not deep enough to never be found
Backyard skulls, deep beneath the ground
All those backyard skulls, not deep enough to never be found

Ending

          F G
Deep enough to never be found

Deep enough to never be found

This really should be rated higher. Change the D's to G's, add a bunch of hammer-ons/pull-offs and you're set. Unless you want to play the whole thing 1/2 step down for extra good times.
