CAPO: 1st FRET
(There is another version below with capo on 6th fret)

CHORDS USED:

   G C D Am
E -3---3---2---0--
B -3---1---3---1--
G -0---0---2---2--
D -0---2---0---2--
A -2---3---0---0--
E -3---0---0---0--

INTRO: G C G C

VERSE:
         G
I won't hold my tongue.
                     C
I'm not okay without you here.
                G
I guess what's done is done.
                               C
I just feel so exposed without you near.

BREAK:
Am C
   And I won't say that I'm okay,
Am
'Cause you taught me not to lie,
                                   C D
So know that I'll miss you everyday.

PRE-CHORUS:
            G
You always taught me to be good,

And always do my best to be selfless
       C
But I know that God is holding you

And I am so damn jealous,
         Am
'Cause I miss your arms around me

And the way you make me laugh.
         D
Now I'm stuck inside this prison that says

You're never coming back.

CHORUS:
         G
So I'm sitting in my room

As I try to write this song.
        C
I'm so sorry that it's not good enough.

It's just that everything seems wrong,
           Am
And I keep bursting into tears

Because the pain won't go away,
             D
Because the father took my best friend

And said she cannot come out to play
         G C G C
Anymore.

REFRAIN:
         G
I won't hold my tongue.
                     C
I'm not okay without you here.
         G
I won't hold my tongue.
                     C
I'm not okay without you here.
         G
I won't hold my tongue.
                     C
I'm not okay without you here.

VERSE:
                G
I guess what's done is done.
                               C
I just feel so exposed without you near.

BREAK:
Am C
   And I won't say that I'm okay,
Am
'Cause you taught me not to lie,
                                    C D
So know that I'll miss you everyday.

PRE-CHORUS:
            G
You always taught me to be good,

And always do my best to be selfless
       C
But I know that God is holding you

And I am so damn jealous,
         Am
'Cause I miss your arms around me

And the way you make me laugh.
             D
And now I'm stuck inside this prison that says

You're never coming back.

CHORUS:
             G
And now I'm sitting in my room

As I try to write this song.
        C
I'm so sorry that it's not good enough.

It's just that everything seems wrong,
           Am
But I will try my best to be good

So I can pay my way,
           D
Straight through the pearly gates

Into your arms so we can play
      G
Once more.

SPOKEN OUTRO: (play G C over and over until end)
G
Grandma, Uh, I love God with all my heart
    C
And uh, The only reason that isn't
                                   G
Stated in my life is because of you

And I really don't understand it God

That you introduced me to

What would take you away so fast
    C
When you were the only person

That ever understood a thing I ever said

And I really don't understand
                              G
How to deal with this anymore

And, I'm just really not okay with this
   C
And I miss you and I understand you're in heaven
                              G
But I don't want to be selfish

I don't want you to be in heaven

I want you to be back down here

I don't want you to be there
                      C
I want you to be here

What am I supposed to do now
                      G C G C fade out...
That's all I'm asking

It sounds more accurate to the recording with capo on 6. so in the tab G=D C=G D=A and Am=Em

I play with the capo on the third fret. But other than that I find this to sound just like the song <3

I just wanted to put up a version that used the capo with chords that were easily recognized and played by a beginner. If anyone wants to place the capo on some other fret that is easily done... And then transpose the chords accordingly.... This chart may help to do that:
