OK, Insted of the D* riff, try this:

|x54030| Try it out, and do what you like best.
|xx0033| The chords above match the song better.
|xx4033|
|x54030| Note: try using |x54030| insted of D also.

Chords
C: |032010|
D: |000232| or |x54030|
Dsus: |000230|
Dsus2: |000233|
Em: |022000|

Note: D* = D/Dsus/D/Dsus2/D

Lyrics:

[Verse]

C D*
She calls me from the cold
                 C D*
Just when I was low, feeling short of stable
C D*
All that she intends
                      C D*
And all she keeps inside, isn't on the label

C D Em D
She's, she's ashamed
            C D Em D
And she can take me for a while
C D* C
And can I be a friend, we'll forget the past
                  D
Or maybe I'm not able
         D~
And I break at the bend

[Chorus]

Em C Am D C
We're here and now, will we ever be again
Am D C
Cause I have found
       C~ C
All that shimmers in this world is sure to fade
 D* C D*
Away again

[Verse]

    C D*
She dreams the champagne dream
            C D*
Strawberry surprise, pink linen on white paper
C D*
Lavender and cream
              C D*
Fields of butterflies, reality escapes her

C D Em D C D
Em D
She says that love is for fools that fall behind
C D*
I'm somewhere in between
                 C D
I never really know A killer from a savior
      D~
And I break at the bend

[Chorus]

Em C Am D C
We're here and now, will we ever be again
Am D C
Cause I have found
       C~ C
All that shimmers in this world is sure to fade
 D* C D*
Away again

[Outro]

C D Em D
It's too far away for me to hold
C D Em
Too far away

C D Em D
It's too far away for me to hold
C D Em
Too far away

(Solo/Break) = D

awesome tab mate, sounds really good. A couple of things though...

Dsus2 is [---0230] and...
Dsus4 is [---0233]

because E is the second note up from D in the scales and G is the fourth note up form D in the scales. Doesnt mattter what scale either because the 2nd and 4ths are always the same in major or minor.

Also i would've gone for these chord shapes:

C [-35050]
D [-57070]

and there is an Em in after the D in the verses- The chord progression goes CDEmD and for that Em u use the same pattern except with a minor 3rd (the 8 in this case) [-79080]

nice work though, if u have any questions on chords, scales or other music related stuff, email me at xx-kingforaday-xx@hotmail.com
