[Intro]

Dm Bb F C
Dm Bb F
Dm Bb F C
Am Bb F

[Verse]

Dm Bb F C
I promise that I'll hold you when it's cold out
Dm Bb F
And we'll lose our winter coats in the spring
Dm Bb F C
'Cause lately I was thinking I never told you
Am Bb F
That every time I see you my heart sings
Dm Bb F C
'Cause we lived at the carnival in summer
Dm Bb F
Scared ourselves to death on a ghost train
Dm Bb F C
And just like every ferris wheel stops turning
Dm Bb F C
Oh, I guess we had an expiration date
Am Bb F
So I won't say I love you, it's too late

[Chorus]

Dm Bb F C
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooh
Dm Bb F
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooh
Dm Bb F C
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooh
Am Bb F
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooh

[Verse]

Dm Bb F C
'Cause every time I saw you I got nervous
Dm Bb F
Shivering and shaking at the knees
Dm Bb F C
And just like every song I haven't heard yet, no
Am Bb F
I didn't know the words in front of me
C
In front of me
Dm Bb
Oh, but I don't wanna know
F C Bb
But who will take you home
F C Bb
Who will take you home
Dm C Bb
Who will take you home
Am Bb
If I let you go

[Chorus]

Dm Bb F C
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooh
Dm Bb F
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooh
Dm Bb F C
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooh
Am Bb F
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooh

[Verse]

Dm Bb F C
And now that you're on someone else's shoulders
Dm Bb F
The winter winds are colder on my own
Dm Bb F C
Maybe we will meet when we get older
Am
Maybe we won't
Dm Bb F
So I won't say I love you if you don't,
Dm Bb F C
No, you don't
Am Bb F
So I won't say I love you if you don't

the last line of the verse Am Bb F sounds wrong and it sounds in the wrong key, that is all

Terrible tab, the 1st live video that comes up on YouTube clearly shows he has the capo on the 7th fret, not to mention the chords Am, F, C, G, are more in keeping with the style (finger picking, hammering on and off open notes) than moving to a Dm and Bb

But, tonally it is more or les correct, so 2* not 1*
