[Verse 1]
            Em Em7 D/E
Just as I thought it was going al - right,
                 Em Em7 D/E
I found out I'm wrong, when I thought I was right,
                 Em Em7 C6add2 D6sus2 Em
It's always the same, it's just a shame,...that's all!
            Am Am/C D
I could say day, and you'd say night,
E7sus4/B Am Am/C D
Tell me it's black, when I know that it's white,
E7sus4/B Am Am/C D D6sus2 Em
Always the same, it's just a shame, and that's all!

[Chorus]
         G G/B G/D G/B Am Em/B D/A D
I could leave, but I won't go, though my heart might tell me so,
         G G/B G/D G/B Am Em/B
I can't feel a thing, from my head down to my toes,
D/A D Em Em7 D/E
But why does it always seem to be...
                 Em Em7 D/E
...Me looking at you, with you looking at me?
                 Em Em7 C6add2 D6sus2 Em
It's always the same, it's just a shame, ...that's all!

[Verse 2]
           Em Em7 D/E Em Em7 D/E
Turning me on, turning me off, making me feel like I want too much,
             Em Em7 C6add2 D6sus2 Em
Living with you's just a - putting me through it all of the time!
             Am Am/C D
Running a - round, staying out all night,
E7sus4/B Am Am/C D
Taking it all, instead of taking one bite,
E7sus4/B Am Am/C D D6sus2 Em
Living with you's just a - putting me through it all of the time!

                G G/B G/D G/B Am Em/B D/A D
Well, I could leave, but I won't go, but it'd be easi - er, I know,
         G G/B G/D G/B Am Em/B
I can't feel a thing, from my head down to my toes,
D/A D Em Em7 D/E

Where's the lead guitar part at the end? Also these are open position. Lead plays barre chords. I haven't figured out what form barre chords they are yet.

Hey Miles,

First: I don't make any claim to tabbing the song the way Mike Rutherford plays it, most Genesis songs are as much, or even more, to do with what Tony Banks is playing on keyboards. My tabs are done in the way I use them myself, which is as an accompaniment to singing and playing them solo, so I'll often try to encompass other elements of an arrangement, not just an individual guitar part. Although not my intention, my tabs are used as reference by keyboard players and bassists too.

Secondly: This is listed under CHORD version, not TAB, I very rarely add any guitar solos. I might add a tablature of a little fill sometimes if it's needed, but not whole guitar solos, they just don't even personally interest me. Maybe you should leave a request on the tab forum for the guitar solo.

Thirdly: Your comment does come across more like a demand than a request. I've been contributing songs to UG for about 4 years now, it's not a job, and I only do it because I enjoy it and I got a lot of very positive feedback from generous members on UG. Working songs out is very time consuming thing though. I notice you have been a member for over 3 years and not contributed a single tab, so maybe you don't appreciate the effort other people make already.
