"Any Road" - George Harrison
Note: Chords by Alberto Montalbano
As played during a 1997 visit to VH1

George is playing this song with an acoustic guitar that was handed to him by an audience member.

(Intro) G, C/G, G, D/F#, G, D/F#, G

(Verse)
G C' G
I've been traveling on a boat and a plane
     D/F# G D/F# G
In a car on a bike with a bus and a train
G C' G
Traveling there, traveling here
D/F# G D/F# G
Everywhere in every gear

(Chorus)
    C G D G
But oh Lord we pay the price
         F/C C D
With the spin of the wheel with the roll of the dice
C G D G
Ah yeah you pay your fare
           Bb F/C
And if you don't know where you're going
    C G
Any road will take you there

(Repeat intro as interlude between verses)

And I've been traveling through the dirt and the grime
From the past to the future through the space and the time
Traveling deep beneath the waves
In watery grottoes and mountainous caves

But oh Lord we've got to fight
With the thoughts in the head with the dark and the light
No use to stop and stare
And if you don't know where you're going
Any road will take you there

(Bridge)
Em
You may not know where you came from
D C G C/G G
May not know who you are
Am B7 Em
May not have even wondered
D A7 D
How you got this far

It sounds great to me. And I have an easier time singing it in G, anyhow :-) Thanks!
