[Intro]
F C Am x2

[Verse 1]
        F
Are you disappointed
                              C Am
things are far from what they seem
                    F
and do you watch me wary
              C Am
of what you might see

                   F
Do you regret your invitation
        C Am
your courtesy ohhhh
                     F
are you running out of patience
                   C
as you leave so politely

[Chorus]
Am C F
So what is becoming of the two of us
                                   C
I'm turning time back just to rise above as if
        Am
we've never been
                F
never been here before

Praying on a better ending
                              C
just something so we'll stop pretending as if
      Am
we've never been
                F
never been here before

[Interlude]
C Am

[Verse 2]
Am F
More than an arm around this shoulder
                            C Am
more like a light along the way
                                 F
this flower that bloomed in late October
                            C
the only colour amongst the grey
Am Am* F
how i wish that it could have remained this way

[Interlude]
F C Am

[Chorus]
Am C F
So what is becoming of the two of us
                                   C
I'm turning time back just to rise above as if
        Am
we've never been
                F
never been here before

Praying on a better ending
                              C
just something so we'll stop pretending as if
      Am
we've never been
                F
never been here before

F Am
ohh oh oh ooh oh oh ohhh oh ohhh

[Bridge]
                    F
Oh I could take you in

or I could pull you under
                   Am
I want to take you in

but I may pull you under

                            F
Oh darling I could take you in

or I could pull you under
                            Am
Oh darling I could take you in
                             C
but I don't want to pull you under

[Chorus]
C F
Oh what is becoming of the two of us
                                   C
I'm turning time back just to rise above as if
        Am
we've never been
                F
never been here before

Praying on a better ending
                              C
just something so we'll stop pretending as if
      Am
we've never been
                F
never been here before

no it is 7th capo, when you tune it right: The tuning is DGCFAD capo at 7th fret, or norm tuning sounds good on fifth.
