[Intro]

D G D5 G

[Verse 1]

            D F#m G A
She looked so much like a lady, but she was so much like a child.
 F#m Bm G A
A devil when she held me close, an angel when she smiled.
D F#m G A
She always held it deep inside, but somehow I always knew
 F#m Bm G D
She'd go away when the grass turned green and the sky turned baby blue.

[Chorus]

          D F#m G A
And baby blue----was the color of her eyes.
      F#m Bm G A
Baby blue----like the Colorado skies.
         Bm
Like a breath of spring, she came and left,
    D E
And I still don't know why,
      F#m Bm G D
So, here's to you and whoever holds my baby blue tonight.

[Verse 2]

              D F#m G A
She brought colors to my life that my eyes had never touched.
     F#m Bm G A
And when she taught me how to care, I never cared so much.
 D F#m G A
I try not to think of her, but I fall asleep and do,
      F#m Bm G D
And drift off where the grass is green and the sky is baby blue.

[Chorus]

          D F#m G A
And baby blue----was the color of her eyes.
      F#m Bm G A
Baby blue----like the Colorado skies.
         Bm
Like a breath of spring, she came and left,
    D E
And I still don't know why,
      F#m Bm G D
So, here's to you and whoever holds my baby blue tonight.

[Chorus]

(key change)

          Eb Gm Ab Bb
And baby blue----was the color of her eyes.
      Gm Cm Ab Bb
Baby blue----like the Colorado skies.
         Cm
Like a breath of spring, she came and left,
    Eb F#
And I still don't know why,
      Gm Cm Ab Eb
So, here's to you and whoever holds my baby blue tonight.

Capo: 2nd Fret
D5 XX0235
F#m XX4222

There are a few parts of the song where the F#m should be
played with the A on the 1st string.
Keep in mind this is not relative to the Capo on the second Fret.

Why can't I launch autoscroll, display cords, etc. on any of the music in your library?

It has to be your settings. Auto-scroll is not something I can enable/disable.

If you like it, please rate it.
If it's less than 5 stars, let me know why and I will try to
make corrections to perfect the tab.

This is the only version that matches what George played. The others sound off.
