(Kissed You)Good Night By Gloriana

Capo 4th Fret

Beginning: The guitar is just playing the G chord, the other notes you hear are the
bass. If you want it to sound like that, play this: G D* Cadd9
D* = mute the top thickest string with your thumb and only play the thicker 2 or 3
strings so it sounds low rather than high pitched D.
I saw Gloriana once, they still had the Blonde girl though
Love,
-Kevin

[Verse 1]

G D* Cadd9
              G
I dropped you off
       C
Just a little after midnight
          G
Sat in my car
C
Till you turned off your porch light
                Em C
I should have kissed you
              G D
I should have pushed you up against the wall
              Em C
I should have kissed you
     G D
Just like I wasnt scared at all

[Chorus]
  G
I turned off the car
D*
Ran through the yard
C D
Back to your front door
  G
Before I could knock
D*
You turned the lock
    C D
And met me on the front porch
      Em C
And I kissed you
 G D
Goodnight
                 Em C
And now that Ive kissed you
      G D
Its a good night good night baby goodnight

G D* Cadd9

[Verse 2]
            G
You couldnt see me
C
Watching through the window
          G
Wondering what went wrong
C
Praying that you wouldnt go
                Em C
You should have kissed me
                G D
You should have pushed me up against the wall
                Em C
You should have kissed me
                   G D
I was right on the edge and ready to fall

[Chorus]

  G
I turned off the car
D*
Ran through the yard
C D
Back to your front door
  G
Before I could knock
D*
You turned the lock
    C D
And met me on the front porch
      Em C
And I kissed you
 G D
Goodnight
                 Em C
And now that Ive kissed you
      G D
Its a good night good night baby goodnight
