We Shall Sail - Gogol Bordello
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed by: Henry Morgensen
E-mail:

Tuning: Standard

 Intro:

    C D#
e|------------------------------------------|
B|-----1--1------1--1------1--1------4--4---|
G|-----0--0------0--0------0--0------0--0---|
D|-----2--2------2--2------2--2------5--5---| x2
A|--3--3--3------3--3---3--3--3---6--6--6---|
E|-----3--3---3--3--3------3--3-------------|

(The song goes back and forth between that alternating bass note thing and occasionally
just strumming.
Best thing to do is to listen to it to hear when to do either one.)

 C G C
Hey, brother stranger you know we shall sail

 C G
Even if, even if only to fail

       C F Am*
Cause Winnin' and losin' keep journey ammusin'

*The first time, instead of strumming the chord there's something like this:
e|----------------------3-------3\1---1---0---|
B|------------3---3/5-------5---5\3---3---1---|
G|------3/5-----------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------|
A|--0-----------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------|

 C G C*
Down, down, down your destiny trail

*During this little weird part he's basically dragging the C chord up and down the neck.
Putting the chord names, but just use that to find where the C chord fingering shape is
on the neck

        C C# C D#
e|-----------------------------------------------------------|
B|-----------------2---------------------1---------4---------|
G|---------0---------------------------0---0-----------------|
D|-------2---2------------3-------2----------------------5---|
A|--3------------------4------------------------------6------|
E|-----------------------------------------------------------|

    C D#add9 C
e|-------------------------------------------------------|
B|---------1--------6------------------1---------4-------|
G|-------0---0-----------------------0---0---------------|
D|--2------------------5--------2------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------------------------|

 C G C
Hey, brother stranger you know we shall sail

(mostly just strumming chords from this point)

    C G
So living and loving may never go stale

       C F Am Asus4 Am
Cause hustle and bustle sure'll get you the muscle

 C C G C*
And, and, and for your coffin a nail

*same as the first except turns into strumming C after the first half

        C C# C D#
e|-----------------------------------------------------------|
B|-----------------2---------------------1---------4---------|
G|---------0---------------------------0---0-----------------|
D|-------2---2------------3-------2----------------------5---|
A|--3------------------4------------------------------6------|
E|-----------------------------------------------------------|
                                                               C
                                                   Coffin a nail!

     F G C Am
But nothing in this life is good or ba----ad

     Dm E Am
It's we who dress it up as happy or sad

     F G C Am
And nothing in life is a sure mu----ust

 F G C
Yet, in living and loving, indeed we trust

        C C# C D#
e|-----------------------------------------------------------|
B|-----------------2---------------------1---------4---------|
G|---------0---------------------------0---0-----------------|
D|-------2---2------------3-------2----------------------5---|
A|--3------------------4------------------------------6------|
E|-----------------------------------------------------------|

    C D#add9
e|-----------------------------------|
B|---------1--------6----------------|
G|-------0---0-----------------------|
D|--2--------------------5-----------| Then quick strum on G
A|---------------------6-------7-----|
E|-----------------------------------|

 C G C
If you got no place where you belong

 C G
Shoulder of stranger just as good and strong

 C F Am
Come into my house and meet all of the night(?)

*Similar to the first time, but with a small change
e|----------------------3-------3\1---1---8---|
B|------------3---3/5-------5---5\3---3---10--|
G|------3/5-----------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------|
A|--0-----------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------|

     C C G C
And don't, don't hesitate, kick that door out!

 C
Yeah kick it out!

       F G C Am
Cause nothing in this life is good or ba----ad

     Dm E Am
It's we who dress it up as happy or sad

     F G C Am
And no one in this life is sinner or sa----aint

           Dm E Am
It's just energy running up the stream or down the drain

     F G C Am
And nothing in life is a sure mu----ust

 F G C*
Yet, in living and loving, indeed we trust

*Repeats that weird C chord thing, but then does some stuff with harmonics that I
can't pick out

        C C# C D#
e|-----------------------------------------------------------|
B|-----------------2---------------------1---------4---------|
G|---------0---------------------------0---0-----------------|
D|-------2---2------------3-------2----------------------5---| x2
A|--3------------------4------------------------------6------|
E|-----------------------------------------------------------|

 C G C
Hey, brother stranger you know we shall sail

 C G
Even if, even if only to fail

       C F Am*
Cause Winnin' and losin' keep journey ammusin'

*Same as the first
e|----------------------3-------3\1---1---0---|
B|------------3---3/5-------5---5\3---3---1---|
G|------3/5-----------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------|
A|--0-----------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------|

 C C G C
Down, down, down your destiny trail

END

I've been trying so hard to figure this one out! I got the chords but it was impossible to notice which strings should I play. Thanks for the tab :)
