[Intro]

A E/G# D F#m E D

[Verse]

     A E/G# D
And even though the moment passed me by
      F#m E D
I still can't turn away
   A E D
I saw all the dreams you never thought you'd lose
 F#m E D
tossed along the way
 A E/G# D
letters that you never meant to send
F#m E D
lost or thrown away

[Chorus]

    F#m E
And now we're grown up orphans
      D
That never knew their names
   F#m E
We don't belong to no one
              D
That's a shame
F#m E
you could hide beside me
D
Maybe for a while
F#m E D
And I won't tell no one your name
                               A E/G# D F#m E D
And I won't tell 'em your name

[Verse]

A E/G# D
scars are souvenirs you never lose
    F#m E D
The past is never far
A E/G# D
Did you lose yourself somewhere out there?
      F#m E D
Did you get to be a star?
     A E/G# D
And don't it make you sad to know that life
   F#m E D
Is more than who we are

[Chorus]

      F#m E
You grew up way too fast
               D
And now there's nothing to believe
   F#m E D
And reruns all become our history
  F#m E D
A tired song keeps playing on a tired radio
F#m E D
And I won't tell no one your name
                               A E/G# D F#m E D
And I won't tell 'em your name

[Bridge]

A E/G# D

F#m E D
I won't tell em' your name

 A E/G# D
Oooh, oooh, oooh
F#m E D
I won't tell em' your name, Ow!

[Instrumental]

F#m E D

[Outro]

A E/G# D
I think about you all the time
    F#m E D
But I don't need the same
    A E/G#
If it's lonely where you are
          D
Come back down
F#m E D
And I won't tell 'em your name

the chords are right. in my opinion, it's much easier if you transpose it down 2 halfsteps and use a capo on the 2nd fret.
