*Sample strumming* This is the recommended strumming for the intro. You only play the
first measure (the first box below) once at the intro and everytime you switch from a
different set of chord changes into the Cadd9 Em7 Asus G chords of the verses. So Play
the second strumming part i wrote out over and over for the verses and the first part
only when
you switch into a verse.

you play this holding the chords that are written out except that you don't really strum
through the whole chord. i wrote out the parts of the chord that i play when i strum.
also, in between almost everytime that you switch from one chord to another chord, you
strum a chord not written out where you ONLY fret the 3rd fret of the E and B strings. That
change is written out in the strum pattern as 0033. This is only a rough guide you can
be a bit sloppy with the actual strings hit as long as your rhythm is good.

labeled the pick stroke under each of the notes. oh yeah and let the strings you hit in this

I've loved this song for a very long time - and had tried several dozen versions of the tabs. This one makes the most sense (just 'coz a guy is in a band, doesn't mean he always writes and plays a complicated version!), it plays the easiest, and it's been well written.
