Verse 1:

F# A7
Don't cry,
Dm C
open up your eyes and know
      Bb C F#
there's someone else out there that feels this way.
   F# A7
I'm singin' to you
      Dm C
cuz i know what you've been through and now
     Bb C F#
it's not that long ago i felt the same.

Chorus:
Bb C
Like soldiers, march on.
F# G/B Bb
if we can make it through the night we'll see the sun.
     C F#
March on. March on.

Verse 2:
F# A7 Dm
I remember summer nights alone,
              C Bb
Fireflies the only thing we owned,
                C F#
all we had were dreams of California.
               A7 Dm
And i remember winters were so cold,
               C Bb
hunger was the only thing we've known,
                  C F#
and rock n' roll dreamin' was what saved us.

Chorus:

Bridge:
Dm/A C Bb
Til we see the sun.
Dm/A C Bb
Til we see the sun.
            Dm/A
Through the good times,
            C
Through the bad times,
            Bb
Through the long days,
            Bb
through the hard nights.
     Dm/A C Bb
Keep on til we see the sun.

Chorus 2x's

you could also play it with a capo on the 1st fret and play the F# as an f then the rest are right
