Capo
3rd fret
This is without doubt one of the best country rock songs ever written and
always gets unexpected praise when I play this song live. I prefer using the
capo on the 3rd fret as this makes the chord progression closer to the vocals (mine at least).

(capo 3rd)

Intro D / / F#m / / Am / / B7 / / D
D F#m Am B
You may be, sweet and nice, but that won't keep you warm at night
Em Em(+Maj7) Em7 A
Cuz I'm the one, who showed you how, to do the things you're doing now
D F#m Am B7
He may feel, all your charms, he may hold you in his arms
Em A7 Em A7 D
But I'm the one, who let you in, I was right beside you then

G Gm D Bm
Once upon a time, you let me feel you deep inside
E E7 G A
and nobody knew, nobody saw, do you remember the way you cried

D F#m
I'm your toy, I'm your ol' boy
Am B7 Em
And I don't want no one but you to love me
                A Em A D
No, I wouldn't lie, you know I'm not that kind of guy

Solo!

G Gm D Bm

D F#m
I'm your toy, I'm your ol' boy
Am B7 Em

               A Em A D
No, I wouldn't lie, you know I'm not that kind of guy

The tabs that are up are close but I think the chords go a little more like this:

key of F

(intro)
Dm \ \ \ Dm(maj7) \ \ Dm7 \ \ \ G7 \ \ \

(verse)
F \ \ \ Fmaj7 \ \ \ F7 \ \ \ D7 \ \ \
You may be ...
Gm \ \ \ Gm(maj7) \ \ \ Gm7 \ \ \ C7 \ \ \

("pre" bridge)
F \ F+ \ Dm \ F7

(bridge)
Bb \ \ \ Baug7 \ \ \
Once upon a time ...
F \ \ \ Dm \ \ \
G \ \ \ G7 \ \ \
Bb \ \ \ C \ \ \

I think maybe on the second verse the Gm7 gets replaced with a Bb
Gm \ \ \ Gm(maj7) \ \ \ Bb \ \ \ C
You know I'm not ...

I find this pretty easy to play by putting a capo on the first fret and playing it all in key of E. YMMV

Saludos y k les ayude
