Underneath the Weeping Willow
By Grandaddy
Arranged by Jason Lytle
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Jason Lytle plays this in an interview and has played it live at some other places. This
sounds good on the guitar and the piano, although, the piano is more suited to it
I figure. I originally did this for a friend on the talkscape forums.
Here you go Stainy.

for coordination on with the song and the strumming pattern:

Standard tuning:
E A D G B E

Chords:

     C F Em Am G G/F F/E

e[---0----0----0----0----3-----1------1---------]
B[---1----1----0----1----0-----0------1---------]
G[---0----2----0----2----0-----0------2---------]
D[---2----3----2----2----0-----0------3---------]
A[---3----3----2----0----2-----2------3---------]
E[-----------------------3-----3----------------]

C F C Em Am
I wanna sleep... underneath the weeping willow

G F Am
As it cries all night quietly...

G F Am
It's tears all around me

G F Am
I'll sleep here so soundly... Until

G F Am
I'm aloud finally

G G/F C
              To wake..and be happy again

F C Em Am G F/E

G G/F# G/F C
  C~
                   To wake..and be happy again

Jason plays a variation of hammer on picking which he releases the string he's playing
a chord and hammers it back into it's place.

Should be a Em not a E, you have it labelled as an E in the song but written out as a Em in the top part where you show how to play each chord. Otherwise, amazing work.
