Chorus
Jam on verse and chorus chords

Everybody's looking out for him,
'Cause they know Red's satisfies.
Little girls love to listen, to him sing and tell sweet lies.
But when things get too confusing, honey, you're better off in bed
And I’ll be searching all the joints in town for Panama Red.

Oh the horror: Imagine the joy of finding the song "Panama Red" listed, only to see credit for it given to the Dead. The song was written by Peter Rowan and although he and Gerry were friends of varying degrees over the years, the Dead had nothing to do with writing that song. NRPS did steal it and have a hit album and song with it, but thats another story. Panama Red belongs exclusively to Peter, and if you cover it (he wont mind) at least give him due credit. Peace, skruff

As cisko stated, actually written by Peter Rowan and covered by New Riders of the Purple Sage. Wouldn't say that they "stole it" considering they gave writing credits to Rowan on the record.
Regardless.....Good tab.
