Verse 1:

G D
Had a dream I was moving forward,

G D
Moving gently to the sun,

G D
Come to see my world rewarded,

C9 G
A new day has begun.

(Hold G)

G D
Lost bird caught in mid-migration,
G D
Far away to foreign land,

G D
Offspring of a secret nation,

C9 G
A new day has begun.

Chorus:

Bm Em
I can see,
       C G
The earth below me,

     Em C D G D
And I can feel it turn.

           C9 D
Feel it tu-u-urn,

            G D
Feel it turn,
           C9 D
Feel it tu-u-urn,

Verse 2:

G D
Fog lifts to reveal potential,

       G D
For generations prophesized,

G D
Hard growth to be exponential,

        C9 G
The promise is finally realized.

Chorus

Bridge:

            Em
Feel it turn,

                   D
Across the sky,

        C9
The world it meant,

                 D
So much more…

(Play intro riff leading into the next verse)

G D
Cut, Steel wired into water,

G D
Fixed link circumnavigate,

G D
Old men see sons and daughters,

      C9
No longer,

                 G
No longer hinting (?)

Chorus and Fade.

Q.E.D

Enjoy!

its not so bad...just play the open D string instead of the 5 on the A, sounds more natural. and add some suspensions to the D chord.
