The chord embellishments are open hammer ons embedded in the strum pattern: for
the G chord go open to 2nd fret on the G string,
for the C chord go open to 2nd fret on the D string.

Play the D chords this way:

G C (4x)

G Em
I woke you up
D C
With poetry and stones
G Em
The ragged and the bones
D C
Strewn around the room

G C (2x)

I recall
Another hazy may
Take a round in the ring
Gone hungry for the wind

G C (2x)

C G
Here’s the part I just lose everything
C G
And I cracked a spark just to hear you sing
C D C

G C (4x)

G Em
I took it out
D C
The papers and the trash
G Em
Old among the cans
D C
This golden love gone bad
G Em
Shined it up
D C
Aiming at the Sun
       G Em
Just a light year from us
      D C
Hop a cab ride and we’re off

G C (2x)

C G
All the ravens came along to play
C G
The simple notes you sang just went astray
C D C

G C D
Everything was up, it’s coming down
G C D
Everything was up, it’s coming down
Coming down

The second chord in the verses in Em, not C.

Lack of accuracy. Clearly wrong. While the tab is in the right ball park, there some incorrect chords here and there. It'd be easier to learn the song by ear.

Yeah this was my second tab and at the time I wasn't too concerned with accuracy, just wanted something to play around with. I edited it according to the first comment but I still didn't pick the song apart. If you want to play it like Gregory then I'd suggest finding a more experienced contributor or just contributing a new version... mine is still the only one after a year now.
