Am Em
Curse at your captain, and stow me below.
F C
Hold me amongst all your cards.
Am Em
Oh we were sea bound, and aimless at best.
F C
Clutching to the wheel, and those charts.
G Am -–Am Riff
But that sea is just a gambler at heart.

Am Em
Oh there we were, and the sun hit the starboard.
F C
And we were as free as we could be.
Am Em
We waited for land. Oh we waited for the
F C
We aimed to stay calm and cool.
G Am—-Am Riff
And that sea is just a gambling fool.

F C
Come to me Mary come.
Am Em
You know you once were Queen.
F C Bm Am
The ocean is, holding all the Kings.
F C Bm Am-- Am Riff
Tossed aside the weary.

F C
How I'd love to steer you straight into the water.
Am Em
While those daunting clouds above begin to pour.
F C Bm Am
And when were found, Ah we'll kiss that ground.
F C Bm Am
And roll around on that lovers' floor.

F C
Come to me Mary come.
Am Em
You know you once were Queen.
F C Bm Am
The ocean is, holding all the Kings.
F C Bm Am
Tossed aside the weary.
F C Bm Am
The ocean is, holding everything.
F C Bm Am Am riff
Tossed aside the weary.
F C Bm Am
Oh that dreadful gambling sea.

G works, but I think Cadd2/B or Cadd2/G give it more movement (X B D G C e) or (G B D G C e).

bm7 works well....you have to pay attention for the riff variations, but this is a solid tune
