okay so
the chords used are
A, B, C#m, E, F#, F#m, and a form of G#..
in that order, they look different than what you play
and in fact look like this:

and furthermore,
during the chorus, when the B chord is played,
another guitar plays a form of a G#, which looks like x6444x
