Im So Lonesome I Could Cry - Hank Williams
--------------------------------------------

[Verse 1]

F
Hear that lonesome whip poor will
                       F7
He sounds too blue to fly.
     Bb F
The midnight train is whining low,
                C7 F
I'm so lonesome I could cry.

I've never seen a night so long
                         F7
When time goes crawling by.
     Bb F
The moon just went behind a cloud
             C7 F
To hide its face and cry.

[Verse 2]

F
Did you ever see a robin weep,
                       F7
When leaves began to die?
       Bb F
That means he's lost the will to live,
                C7 F
I'm so lonesome I could cry.
F
The silence of a falling star
                    F7
Lights up a purple sky.
    Bb F
And as I wonder where you are
                C7 F
I'm so lonesome I could cry.

Pretty good, it's a lot easier if you put a capo on the first fret. Then you don't have to bar the chords.

It's a classic and great song. And this is a super simple, super fun rendition of it... very well done. Many thanks for this!
