Hey--I was checking the current "Underneath" chords posted and noticed a few mistakes.
Now, I know that the A chord isn't in the key of G like the rest of the song, but they
do take that step out when they're playing (took me for bloody EVER to figure out that
THAT was the chord they were hitting...Those tricksters...). In the studio recording,
they just start out on the G with "Wakin' up this morning..."; live (like on Underneath
Acoustic or the UA Live DVD), they go through the G, D, C progression twice, I think

Standard tuning. Chords used:

G: 320003
D: 000232
C: 032010
Am: 002210
Bm: 224432
Em: 022000
A: 002220

G D C
Wakin' up this morning thinking this can't be real
G D C
But they say there is nothing love can't heal
G D C [Bm]
Why don't you come on down so you can feel what I feel?

Am G C
Sittin' all alone in this place, even though we're here face-to-face
Am G C
There is nothing gone, but there's something wrong

          G D Bm C G D
Can't you see that I'm stuck here underneath
           Bm C Em D
and you're makin' it hard to breathe?
       C Bm A
Take a look around and tell me what you see
            C D G D C
You'll find me...underneath...

           G D C
...underneath...

G D C
I know what to say but don't know where to begin
G D C
The fear of losing you beneath my skin
G D C [Bm]
Is there resolution for this pain that I'm in?

Am G C
Sittin' all alone in this place, even though we're here face-to-face
Am G C
There is nothing gone, but there's something wrong

          G D Bm C G D
Can't you see that I'm stuck here underneath
           Bm C Em D
and you're making it hard to breathe?
       C Bm A
Take a look around and tell me what you see
            C A
You'll find me...underneath
                             C D
'Cause, girl, you'll find me, oh-whoa

There is nothing gone, but there's something missing

          G D Bm C G D

And you're making it hard to breathe

You'll find me underneath

I watched Isaac closely when I saw them in Pittsburgh in August (right after I'd figured
out the chords) and the following seems to be what he was doing (I was especially proud
when I saw him do the A in the chorus). Isaac doesn't play the Bm in the verses, but
Taylor might hit it on the piano. You can take it or leave it, I guess. Any comments or
whatever: resplendent_euphoria@yahoo.com.

great tab... thank God someone got it right... i've figured it out more or less on piano but on guitar it's all weird. might have to re-do my piano one now! ;)

nice job on this one, i watched their sessions @ AOL to figure this out because none of the other tabs were even close. the only thing i would add is that in the verse on the C chord, make it a Cadd9 with your pinky finger then back to a C, it sounds better in my opinion because thats what taylor plays on the piano. great job though!
