D A/C# Bm7 A G
I know happiness writes white

I know happiness writes white

I know happiness writes white

I know happiness writes white
D A/C# Bm7 A G (end on G )
I know happinesss writes white

Notes:
A/C# represents an A major chord with a C# in the bass/

So the bass line goes D , C# , B , A , G for the majority of the songt.
Also the song makes heavy use of a repeated A
(you can hear it on the up beats during the intro).

A/C# can also be played as Asus2/C# (x42200), which makes the song a bit easier

My vocal range is a little lower, so I've found dropping the key 7 steps (to G) makes both the chords and singing a lot easier. If your range is more like the song, then you could capo up and use the chords from the -7 key setting, which gets you playing mostly open chords.
