These are the tabs for the various parts of Follow The Son, from Hillsong's album Mighty
Save!
Tabbed By: Jeremy
This song is GUITAR DRIVEN!
Nigel(Hillsong's lead guitarist) uses a mixture of effects, but you can get by simply
distortion and delay, to achieve a similar effect!
After watching Nigel's guitar workshop, these are what I've figured out.

Solo for INTRO/ VERSE (This part is tricky!) 'Heavy Distortion & Delay'
e|-9---7---9---10---9-----9-7----------------------------|
b|---9---8---9----9---9-------8--------------------------|
g|----------------------9-------9------------------------|
D|-------------------------------------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------------------------|

TIMON KLEIN's Second Guitar Part for INTRO/ VERSE (This starts the song and is played
the verses while Nigel plays his part, above)
e|-----------------0-0-----------------------------------|
b|-----------------0-0-----------------------------------|
g|-6-6-4-4-6-6-----1-4-----------------------------------|
D|-x-x-x-x-x-x-6-6-2-4-----------------------------------|
A|-4-4-2-2-4-4-x-x-2-2-----------------------------------|
E|-x-x-x-x-x-x-4-4-0-0-----------------------------------|

Nigel's Chorus Part (This part is awesome & EASY!!)
This is simply sliding the "D" chord up and down!
e|- 9-(x8)-4-(x8)-11-(x8)-12-(x4)-11-(x4)----------------|
b|-10-(x8)-5-(x8)-12-(x8)-12-(x4)-12-(x4)----------------|
g|- 9-(x8)-4-(x8)-11-(x8)-11-(x4)-11-(x4)----------------|
D|-------------------------------------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------------------------|

This Part is played after the chorus when they sing ("You are everything to me") There
2 guitar parts that harmonize amazingly together!!

NIGEL's SOLO Part (the part you mostly hear)
e|-12-12-11-11-12-12-----------12---11-h12-11------------|
b|-------------------10-10-9-9----9----------------------|
g|-------------------------------------------------------|
D|-------------------------------------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------------------------|

TIMON KLEIN's Second Guitar HARMONY Part
e|-------------------------------------------------------|
b|-------------------------------------------------------|
g|-------------------------------------------------------|
D|-------------------------------------------------------|
A|-4-4---------4-4-7-7-7-7-2-2-2-2-----------------------|
E|-----4-4-5-5-------------------------------------------|

The Bridge consists of Nigel and Timon "chasing" each other.
The chords are: A, C#m, E, B (each note played twice)

This is the first time I've ever written out a tab, so if I messed up the notation, let
know!!
Good Luck!
Practice each part at half speed first!
These are for the key of E, so you can play along with Hillsong's version!

you messed up on one part... the part that nigel plays at the end of the chorus is bending on the 11th fret.
