New day in Music!! I had to learn old school how to play guitar. You'd pick up the arm on the phonograph after the solo, put it back, play it again and try, try try. Then Cassette decks made it a little easier. Slowly, slowly and then BOOM!!! The Interwebs!!! And "Tabs." Now you could learn a song - chords and solo - in a half an hour!! Unreal!! Because I came up old school. Hell, I've even jammed with TIM TURK himself!! (Blew him off the stage - he has no chops and those he does have he paid his buddy Devon 25 cents a bar to learn. He was so bad that after he played and I took the stage, the crowd started Booing at how bad he had played - they even did this a half an hour after he'd left!!))
But this song is a new era in passing music down. The Chords start with the usual suspects - G, Am, Em, etc. - you've seen them before, right? BUT THEN !!!! it changes to (get this!!) "Hm." Hm!!! Hm??? WTF!!!!??? What is this key? Where is the key on the piano that goes with it? Is it Black? White? What? Where is it? What is the relative, well . . . ., minor? Major? What notes are in the Hm scale?
This song has re-written music as we know it. Start shredding in Hm - just a matter of time before everyone else is . . . .

Hm is not a chord at all, its a sexual motion (read: hip maneuver) used to woo the ladies and is most effective at this part of the song. Us young folk invented it to throw of you "old schoolers". As for this Tim Turk, yeah yeah total phony. He claims to have gotten his chops from an old blueser god (alex clark no less!) Obviously he didn't pay attention or he'd be up there with the greats as we speak. Anyhow, to get the hm down just watch the pros do it. Ie. Prince, satriani, chuck berry. Or just make actual love to your guitar, same concept.
