Baby's a Red
By: House of Heroes

Standard tuning
Capo 5 (or w/o capo played in D, I just like the chords better in A)

Love this song, but I couldnt find it charted out anywhere, so heres my best shot at it. Enjoy!

I wrote out the chords that might be different from usual...the rest are
just normal. This is how I play it, and it works pretty well with the track.
    C#m D2/F# E/D
E|---0------0------0---|
B|---5------3------3---|
G|---6------2------1---|
D|---6------0------2---|
A|---4------0------2---|
E|---4------2------0---|

Verse 1:
A C#m
Ooh, ooh, little red, with your heart in Stalingrad
       D2/F# E/D
Oh, it kills me how they hate you, but they just dont understand
A C#m
Oh, oh-oh, red, when they put me on the stand
       D2/F# E/D A
I will testify I loved you, and Im not ashamed to be your comrade

Chorus:
A (mute) A (mute) E D2/F#
Red! Red! Babys a red!
     A (mute) A (mute) E D2/F#
Shes blood red! Babys a red!
    F (mute) F (mute) C E
The feds         said,      Lock her in lead;
     F (mute) F (mute) E A
Shes red! but I love her!

A Dm A
(Hammer and sickle on my mind...)

Verse:
A C#m
Ooh, ooh, little red, its not like McCarthy said
          D2/F# E/D
Though we differ on religion, we both support the working man
A C#m
Oh, oh-oh, red, if the bombs fall on our lands
         D2/F# E/D A
Then our politics won't matter...only that I loved you until death
A Dm
 (Hammer and sickle...)

Shes red! but I love her!
