Imagine Dragons - It's Time (acoustic)

An amazing song by an amazing band. When they play this song live they tune half a step down.

[Verse]

    A
So this is what you meant?
                                    E
When you said that you were spent?

And now it's time to build from the

bottom of the pit
             F#m
Right to the top

Don't hold back
D
Packing my bags and giving the
           A
academy a rain-check
                                  E
I don't ever want to let you down
                              F#m
I don't ever want to leave this town
              D
'Cause after all

This city never sleeps at night

[Chorus]

A
It's time to begin, isn't it, I get a little bit
F#m
Bigger, but then, I'll admit
                        Bm
I'm just the same as I was
                       D
Now don't you understand
                                A
That I'm never changing who I am

A - E - F#m - D

[Verse]

A
So this is where you fell
                      E
And I am left to sell

The path to heaven runs through miles

of clouded hell
                F#m
Right to the top

Don't look back
D
Turning to rags and giving the commodities
            A
A rain-check
                                 E
I don't ever want to let you down
                                F#m
I don't ever want to leave this town
              D
'Cause after all

This city never sleeps at night

[Chorus]

A
It's time to begin, isn't it, I get a little bit
F#m
Bigger, but then, I'll admit, I'm just the
          Bm
same as I was
                       D
Now don't you understand

That I'm never changing who I am

[Bridge]

   F#m E
This road never looked so lonely
                            Bm
This house doesn’t burn down slowly
          D
To ashes, To ashes

[Chorus]

A
It's time to begin, isn't it, I get a little bit
F#m
Bigger, but then, I'll admit, I'm just the
          Bm
same as i was
                       A
Now don't you understand

That I'm never changing who I am

i also found that if you put a capo on the 7th fret it has a nice sound to it

sounds a bit out of tune for me,
hopefully just for me. still givin it a good rating for the Effort of putting the chords on top of the lyrics until the end, unlike the others :)
