I know there are other versions of this song on UG, but none of them sounded
perfectly accurate to my ear. So this is my try for a precise transcription.

Notice: use capo on 5th fret and play the chords exactly as given. For the 
strumming pattern just listen closely to the song. And for the best sound: 
don't use a pick! The song gets most of its fragility and hopelessness from 
the finger strumming. Enjoy!

Hopelessness? Read the lyrics, this song is far from hopeless! It's about realizing that you've found someone you want to spend the rest of your life with, and are "Giving Up" on all the 'what-ifs' that single life has to offer. Which is scary, but certainly not hopeless.
