_______________________________________________________________________________

It's best to listen to the song and make note of the timing and what-not.

Also make note that there's an album version and a single/radio edit version of
the song too. I'm going by the album version which is pretty much the same as
the single. The difference is that the single version only has one post chorus
part. Please rate & leave any necessary feedback, thanks!
_______________________________________________________________________________

This is the main guitar part that you hear throughout the verses of the song.

e|-----7-7-9-10---7-7-9-10----7-7--7---7-7--7-------------------|
B|-----8-8-8-8----8-8-8-8-----7-7--7---7-7--7-------------------|
G|-----9-9-9-9----9-9-9-9-----7-7--7---7-7--7-------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------------------|

Post Chorus part (occurs after the first and second chorus):

This is done with fast picking in a DUDUDUDU pattern. The
10's with vibrato is actually the synth part but it still
sounds okay on guitar. The second post chorus only has one
                  10 with vibrato.

e|----14-(x16)--10-(x16)--15-(x16)--10-(x16)---10~~-10~~--------|
B|--------------------------------------------------------------|
G|--------------------------------------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------------------|

Second verse is the same, except after the lyrics "when the facts did stare"
the guitar part is:

e|-----7-7-7---7-7-7-------Instead of being---------------------|
B|-----7-7-7---7-7-7-------like the set of 7's------------------|
G|-----7-7-7---7-7-7-------above.-------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------------------|

Third verse is the same and changes like the second verse with
the alternative set of 7's on the lyrics "of the murder committed".

e|-----7-7-7---7-7-7--------------------------------------------|
B|-----7-7-7---7-7-7--------------------------------------------|
G|-----7-7-7---7-7-7--------------------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------------------|
