[Intro]

D

[Verse]

D
I left alone, my mind was blank.
C D
I needed time to think, to get the memories from my mind.
D
What did I see?
D C D
Can I believe that what I saw that night was real and not just fantasy.

D
Just what I saw in my old dreams
C D
Were they reflections of my warped mind staring back at me?
             D
'Cause in my dreams it's always there
C D
The evil face that twists my mind and brings me to despair

[Bridge]

D C D
Yeahhhhhh

[Verse]

    D
The night was black, was no use holding back
                                      C D
'Cause I just had to see, was someone watching me
D
In the mist dark figures move and twist
                                    C D
Was all this for real, or just some kind of hell?

[Chorus]

C G/B C D
Six six six, the number of the beast
C G/B C D
Hell and fire was spawned to be released

[Verse]

D
Torches blazed and sacred chants were praised
                                C D
As they start to cry hands held to the sky
D
In the night the fires are burning bright
                              C D
The ritual has begun, Satan's work is done

[Chorus]

C G/B C D
Six six six, the number of the beast
C G/B C Dm
Sacrifice is going on tonight

     D
This can't go on I must inform the law
                                    C D
Can this still be real or just some crazy dream?
D
But I feel drawn towards the chanting hordes
                               C D
They seem to mesmerise, can't avoid their eyes

[Chorus]

C G/B C D
Six six six, the number of the beast
C G/B C D

[Verse]

           D
I'm coming back
D
I will return
C D
And I'll possess your body and I'll make you burn
D
I have the fire
D
I have the force
C D
I have the power to make my evil take its course

Query the strumming pattern on the First + Last Verse. It's a bar of 6/4 + a bar of 4/4, actually I think all you need to do is shift the pattern an eighth note so it begins with an accent on beat one. It's a 3 : 3 : 3 : 3 : 4 : 2 : 2 pattern based on the original, i.e. groupings of three notes, one unmuted note followed by two muted bass notes, etc.
