Hello Friends, you'll like this song, esp now that I fixed it. The tuning is different
D G D G B D. It makes it sounds really full and is also heaps easier to play. So enjoy,
and keep it real.

Same style for the rest of the song. dood.

Be this sunset one for keeping
This june bug street sings low and lovely
Those band-aid children
Chased your dog away
She runs, returning, sun still sinking
Down and down once again
Down and down gone again

Anyhow, enjoy.

I understand the desire to simplify learning this song, but I am always hesitant to embrace alternate ways of playing (e.g. writing for pick usage when the song is played fingerstyle, changing tunings to allow for open string usage) and other various techniques which make the song sound significantly different for the express purpose of greater ease of playability, especially regarding solo acoustic pieces. I find it more rewarding to learn the more difficult way, if that is the way the composer intended it to be played.

whoops, I just posted this tab again pretty much the same way this is.

there are bass notes you missed though, open G bass note (5th string) on the "Be this sunset soon forgotten line".
And in the chorus, over the "Down and down" line, B on 5th string, 4th fret, then A on 5th string, 2nd fret.
