Isaac Gracie - Last Words

tabbed by Martyn McKenna

This is in the correct key.

Enjoy..

Capo (1)

[Verse]

D
Fever rising in the setting sun
A
Cocaine in your eyes and bullets in your gun
D
'N' blood in your nails is scratching for the faith
A
With a noose 'round your neck and a needle in your vein

[Chorus]

Asus4
Ooh, and you say...
G
How did I get here and can I get back
D C
I thought I was having fun, but no
                             G
I was just looking for the one
                            D
Always - looking for the one

[Verse]

D
Well, you don't thank fuck that you got a room
A
Now your friends have left you and you're on your own
D
And the woman in your life wasn't quite enough
A
So, you let her go and leave you and it broke your heart

[Chorus]

Asus4
Ooh, and you say...
G
How did I get here and can I get back
D C
I thought I was having fun, but no
                             G
I was just looking for the one
                            D
Always - looking for the one

[Verse]

D
Well, your mind is empty and your heart is cold
A
And your last routines are getting old
D
Now, people seeing through your web of lies
A
And they're fucking the demons that pour inside

[Chorus]

Asus4
Ooh, and you say...
G
How did I get here and can I get back
D C
I thought I was having fun, but no
                             G
I was just looking for the one
                            D
Always - looking for the one

[Verse]

D
Careful what you wish for from the steady life
A
If you want too much you might lose your mind
D
If you only want the woman you saw on TV
A
Then your eyes are open but you just can't see

[Chorus]

Asus4
Ooh, and you say...
G
How did you get here and will you get back
D C
I thought we were having fun, but no
                               G
We were just looking for the one
                            D
Always - looking for the one

[Outro]

G
How did I get here and can I get back
D C
I thought I was having fun, but no
                              G
I was just looking for the one
                        D
Always - looking for you

Nice tab!I think it's played in drop D tuning though. He hits the D alternately when playing the chord. Then hits all the root notes separately on each chord.Because the drop D messes up the G chord, you can play it like this and still hit the root and the higher parts. e|--2--B|--2--G|--3--D|--5--A|--x--D|--5--But as I said, great tab, and a beautiful song. Good work!

D|--5--
A|--x--
D|--5--

But as I said, great tab, and a beautiful song. Good work!
