D Dmaj7 Bm A
There's no combination of words that I could put on the back of a postcard
G D/F# Em A*
No song that I could sing but I can try for your heart and
D Dmaj7 Bm A
Our dreams and they are made out of real things like
G D/F# Em A*
a shoebox of photographs and sepia-toned lovin
D Dmaj7 Bm A
Love is the answer at least for most of the questions in my heart like
G D/F# Em A*
why are we here and where do we go and how come its so hard?
D Dmaj7 Bm A
Its not always easy and sometimes life can be decieving
G D/F# Em A* Ab
I'll tell you one thing it's always better when we're together

[Chorus]

G* A* Ab G*
mmmmm its always better when we're together
                       A* Ab G*
Yeah well look at them stars when we're together
                  A* Ab G*
Well it's always better when we're together
                 A*
Yeah its always better when we're together.

[Verse]

                  D Dmaj7 Bm A
and all of these moments just might find their way into my dreams tonight
G D/F# Em A* D Dmaj7
but I know that they'll be gone when the morning light sings or brings new things
        Bm A G D/F# Em A*
for tomorrow night you'll see that they'll be gone too too many things I have to do.
                 D Dmaj7 Bm A
but if all of these dreams might find their way into my day to day scene
        G D/F# Em A* D Dmaj7
I'd be under the impression I was somewhere inbetween with only 2 just me and you
              Bm A D/F# Em A*
now so many things we got to do, or places we got to be we'll sit beneath the mango tree now

[Chorus]

G* A* Ab G*
mmmmm its always better when we're together
                       A* Ab G*
Yeah well look at them stars when we're together
                  A* Ab G*
Well it's always better when we're together
                 A*
Yeah its always better when we're together.

[Bridge]

mmmm mmm mmmm

G* A* G* A*
I believe in memories they look so, so pretty when I sleep, hey now and
G* A* G* A*
and when I wake up you look so pretty sleeping next to me but there is
G* A* G* A*
not enough time. there is no, no song I could sing and there is no
G* A* G* A*
combination of words I could say but I will still tell you one thing we're better together

This way works and at first listen, I thought he might us a Capo too but then I watched it on Sessions.AOL and he doesn't use a Capo. He just used Bar chords. Believe me, its true. I don't see why he would play it different in the studio sessions then he did on the recording. I worked it out with the bar chords and drops like he played it and it sound perfect.I will post the tab if I get a chance to actually tab it out. Go to sessions on AOL and they show his hands close up so you can easily see how to play it.
