[Verse]
     Am Am7 G G7
Well I was sitting, waiting, wishing you believed in superstitions
F F7 C C7
Then maybe you'd see the signs
     Am Am7 G G7
The lord knows that this world is cruel I ain't the Lord, no I'm just a fool
         F F7 C C7
Learning lovin' somebody don't make them love you

[Chorus]
       E E E Am Am7 Am Am7
Must I always be waiting, waiting on you
       E E E Am Am7 Am Am7
Must I always be playing, playing your fool

[Verse]
  Am Am7 G G7
I sang your songs, I danced your dance, I gave your friends all a chance
    F F7 C C7
But putting up with them wasn't worth never having you
Am Am7 G G7
Maybe you've been through this before but it's my first time so please ignore
    F F7 C C7
The next few lines cause they're directed at you

[Chorus]
        E E E Am Am7 Am Am7
I can't always be waiting, waiting on you
        E E E Am Am7 Am Am7
I can't always be playing, playing your fool
C C E E F
I keep playing your part but it's not my scene
     F G F
Want this plot to twist I've had enough mystery
C C E E F
Keep building it up then shooting me down
        F G G (Am)
But I'm already down just wait a minute

[Bridge]
Am Am7 G G7 F F7
         Just sitting, waiting
C C7 Am Am7 |G G7 F F7 C C7
Just wait a minute just sitting, waiting

[Verse]
      Am Am7 G G7
Well, if I was in your position I'd put down all my ammunition
     F F7 C C7
I'd wonder why'd it taken me so long
    Am Am7 G7
But Lord knows that I'm not you and if I was, I wouldn't be so cruel
      F F7 C C7
Cause waitin' on love aint so easy to do

Great job. Regarding the other comment, there are some live versions he does capo 1 and other versions w/ no capo.

Only problem w/ chord chart is at the end you've got
Am Am7 Am Am7 Am
and it should be
Am Am7 E E7 Am

otherwise, great!!!!
