CAPO 2

Slide - Jake Bugg

A
I've been thinking about
                  C#m
The way the world turns
              F#m
And my stomach churns
                A
When it finally hits me out of the sky
                  C#m
I knew this day would come
                  F#m
I'm on the front line

F#m - E

      F#m E
Oh I don't know how to take it in
               F#m
Is love just suffering?
                               E
Cos I can see where the chapter ends

         D
I've got autumn leaves
         D A
And heartbreak dreams inside
    D
Cos you and me,
        D A
On this frozen sea we slide, slide

A
I wait all on my own
                     C#m
Like a flower in the snow
                F#m A
With just my shadow following me
                     C#m
Out into the cold, as I walk past the trees
               F#m
To look for my love

F#m - E

    F#m E
And its got me wondering
               F#m
Is love just suffering?
                               E
Cos I can see where the chapter ends

         D
I've got autumn leaves
         D A
And heartbreak dreams inside
    D
Cos you and me,
        D A
On this frozen sea we slide, slide.

Good tab, the general gist is right however Jake plays the song with his guitar tuned down half a step.

Hence the B (A) chord the song starts on is actually a C

And as follows.

C Em Am

G Am

The part where he sings slide and you hear the descending bass line is played

C C/B Am Am/G then C/F# I'm not 100% on the last chord though.

Hope that all makes sense twitter.com/leighglaves to disagree with me.
