Song:Jump Up Behind Me
Artist:James Taylor
Tabbed By:acoustixforever

        F Bb
Verse:This land is a lovely green
         Dm C
It reminds me of my own home
       F Bb
      Such stirring I've seldom seen
       Dm C
      Even in my own home
       F Bb
The sky so bright and clean
       Dm C
      It is like my home
       F Bb
Kind people as have ever been
                 Dm C
Won't you take me back to my own home

        C Bb
CHORUS:Jump up behind me my love

       Jump up behind me
         C
Old Dan can bear us both
        Bb
       Jump up behind me
           C
We follow this road 'til we reach the sea
        Bb
       Jump up behind me
              C
We'll catch the tide and set Dan free
         Bb
       Jump up behind me

       F Bb
Verse:I've been in this world awhile
                Dm C
And I've seen a lot of country
       F Bb
      Many days and many miles
            Dm C
      All various and sundry
            F Bb
I've had my way and I've had my fun
               Dm C
And I've had my chance to run free
        F Bb
      Burning hot beneath the sun
       Dm C
      Freezing cold and wintry

REPEAT CHORUS

         Dm
Bridge:I know now
        Bb F
Only one thing matters in these days X2
         Dm Bb
       One thing, true love
             F
       Love and love alone
         Dm Bb-F-Bb-C
       True love

       F Bb
Verse:I came out of a dream last night
           Dm C
Thought I was back in my old home
       F Bb
Mom and Dad were both still alive
        Dm C
And the babies not yet born, no
       F Bb
      Felt like a festival
        Dm C
      Felt like a Christmas morning
         F Bb
      Felt the darkness fall away
        Dm C
Even as the world was turning

(chorus)

It works better If you put a capo on the 6th fret and do this
F=C
Bb=F
Dm=Am
C=G

I believe the correct way is in capo 3, playing out of D position. That's how he does it. Thanks for this song chart though as it is very handy!
