Forgive my ignorance but could you please describe "* = run from one chord to the other " ?
Thanks, I appreciate it !

in the verse part, the "D" chord should be a "Bm" chord. That is what I hear and what I have seen posted for the tab for the group "America" You can switch the chord if you have a problem doing barre chord.

On the verses, I'm playing the * as G/F# (move the bass down a half step, walking it down to the E), and on the chorus I'm playing a C/B for the * (doing the same thing, walking down to the A). I'm assuming that's what the original Contributor intended.

wildbill490 is also right to switch the D chord in the first two lines of each verse to a Bm, and the very last G of the last verse (before it goes back to the last chorus) should be an Em, or at least it is on the JoC recording.

Thanks; I appreciate the tab! It's fun to play through some of my favorite albums. :)
