Capo 1st
Intro/Riff:(G-D-C)
Strum Pattern: (G)-Down,Down,Up,Up (D)-Down (C)-Up (If you listen to the song its
not hard to follow.)

Verse 1:
(G-D-C) (C) (G-D-C)
Pain it's only a little pain
    (C) (G-D-C)
It'll be gone in a couple of days
  (C) (D)
Or maybe a life or two
(G-D-C) (C) (G-D-C)
Heart it's only my poor heart
  (C) (G-D-C)
Just that little thing you tore apart
   (C) (D)
It ain't no headline news

Chorus:
      (C) (G) (C) (G)
But a grown woman should've known better
         (D) (C) (G)
Than to treat me like some old lipstick
        (D) (C)
You use up and throw away
(C) (D)
Hey, hey, hey

Verse 2:
(G-D-C) (C) (G-D-C)
Time I wish I could turn back time
    (C) (G-D-C)
To when you were just a child
      (C) (D)
And teach you a thing or two
     (G-D-C) (C) (G-D-C)
About love it's okay if you wanna give up
      (C) (G-D-C)
But there's a way to leave someone
      (C) (D)
And you don't have to be so cruel

Chorus:
      (C) (G) (C) (G)
But a grown woman should've known better
         (D) (C) (G)
Than to treat me like some old lipstick
        (D) (C)
You use up and throw away
(C) (D)
Hey, hey, hey

Bridge:
        (C)
You're supposed to treat your lover
(Bm)
At least as good as your neighbor
             (C)
So how could you, a grown woman
(D)
Not know no better

Ending:
(D) (C) (G) (D) (C)
I ain't no old lipstick you use up and throw away
      (C) (D)
Cause' you're ready for another shade

(D) (G-D-C)
Hey, hey, hey
      (C) (G-D-C)
You should've known better
   (C) (G)
Cause' you're a grown woman

needs to be a Dm chord in the chorus on "lipstick" and in the verse on "days" its supposed to switch to Dm after the C.

C Dm D / C
It'l be gone in a couple of days

And same for the respective verses/choruses
